Hrothgar

The griffin rider, known only as Hrothgar, was once a respected and feared general in the kingdom's army. He was a skilled strategist and a brilliant tactician, leading his men to victory in countless battles. But as time passed, Hrothgar grew increasingly ambitious and power-hungry, and he began to see the kingdom's weak and ineffective ruler as an obstacle to his own rise to power.
In secret, Hrothgar began to build his own army of mercenaries, cutthroats, and assassins. He used his skills and cunning to manipulate and deceive those around him, amassing a vast fortune and a network of powerful allies. And when the time was right, he made his move, launching a surprise attack on the king's palace and killing the king in a brutal and bloody coup.
With the kingdom in chaos, Vex seized control, declaring himself the new ruler and crushing all who opposed him with an iron fist. He ruled with a ruthless and cruel demeanour, slaughtering his enemies and punishing his subjects for the slightest infraction. He was feared and reviled by all who knew him, but none dared to oppose him, for they knew the punishment would be swift and brutal.
Vex's true power, however, lay in his partnership with his griffin mount, which he had captured and tamed through sheer force of will. The griffin was a fierce and deadly creature, feared by all who saw it. Hrothgar used the griffin as his personal weapon, swooping down from the skies to strike at his enemies with razor-sharp talons and deadly precision.
As Hrothgar’s power grew, so too did his ego and his desire for even greater power. He sought out dark and forbidden magic, using it to enhance his own abilities that further warped his mind, leading his army to abandon him and leave him to adventure alone with his griffin as he slowly goes mad from his own power.
